Si tu vives en un lugar donde hay la tienda Lush alrededor, probablemente has sido cautivada por sus increíbles productos. Todo en esa tienda huele al paraíso.
A mi en particular me encantan sus bombas de baño, aunque no soy tan apegada al precio alrededor de $ 7 – $ 9 cada uno. Sin embargo, creo que vale la pena el dinero. He visto recetas sobre cómo hacer bombas de baño y el proceso se veía fácil, así que pensé que este podría ser un buen proyecto para diferentes cosas. Por cierto que también van a ahorrar un montón de dinero si usted está pensando en hacer más de una bomba.
- Puede ser un gran regalo para el Día de San Valentín, día de la madre, etc.
- Se pueden usar como un recuerdo de evento para la bodas, despedidas de solteras, baby showers, etc.
- En navidad las puedes hacerlas para regalar a amigos y familiares
A mi parecer las bombas de baño son fácil de hacer, pero como menciono en el vídeo la primera vez que los hice que no salieron muy bien, si funcionaron pero no quedaron muy lindas de apariencia. La primera receta que utilicé no pedía maicena y también creo que le añadí demasiado líquido. Cuando les saca del molde y deje para secar, se comenzaron a expandirse. Tuve la impresión que estaba haciendo el pan y la masa estaba creciendo. Me preguntaba que hice lo hice mal, me puse a investigar, y me di cuenta que la mayoría de recetas usa maicena, para salvar mi mezcla añadí maicena. Parecía que estaba funcionando, pero después de sólo unos minutos que comenzó a perder la forma, pero al menos esta vez parece una piedra.
Mi segundo intento es el que se ve en el video. Esta vez utilicé la receta con la maicena(almidón de maíz) desde el principio. Mi recomendación es sobre todo de no añadir más líquido, aun pienses que la mezcla parece un poco seca esta bien, aun así funcionara. Si las bombas se desmorona cuando la sacas del molde usa una botella en spray y rociar la mezcla de una o dos veces, no agregues mucho líquido, si no tienes una botella en spray utiliza una o dos cucharaditas. de agua y mezclar nuevamente.
Yo no compré un molde exclusivo para bomba de baño para este proyecto. En lugar de eso me fui a buscara la tienda de dólar en busca algo que pudiese usar. Me encontré con un exprimidor de limón, que estoy muy segura podría haber funcionado, pero como un poco de textura en el interior por eso no lo elegí. Se que mucha gente utiliza un ornamento de plástico, pero todos los productos de la Navidad ya se han sido retirados de la mayoría de las tiendas. Entonces vi esta luz de noche con un balón de fútbol ( la mitad) como decoración. Sabía que si compraba dos seria el molde perfecto para esta bombas y por sólo $ 2.

If you live in a place where you have the store Lush around, you likely have being captivated by their amazing products. Everything in that store smell like heaven. I particular love their bath bombs although I’m not so fond of the price around $7 – $9 each. However I think they are worth the money. I have seen recipes on how to make them and the process looked really easy, so I thought this could be a great project which is going to save a lot of money.
- It could be a great gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s day, etc.
- You could use it as a event favor for wedding, bridal shower, baby showers, etc.
- Make as many as you want as gifts for friends and family during the holidays.
I found bath bombs easy to make, but as I mentioned in the video the first time I made them they didn’t come out nicely; they worked but they looked ugly. The first recipe I used didn’t ask for cornstarch and I also think I added too much water. When I removed the original bombs from the mold and let them dry they began expanding. I felt like I was making bread and the dough was raised. I was wondering what I did wrong, then I saw that other recipes, which included cornstarch, so to save my mixture I added cornstarch. It seemed that it was working but after just some minutes it started to lost shape, but at least this time didn’t looks that bad.
My second attempt is the one you see in the video. This time I used the recipe with cornstarch from the beginning. My main recommendation is not to add more liquid; even if you think the mixture looks a little dry it is going to work. If the bombs crumbles when you get it from the mold use spray bottle and spray the mixture one or two times, do not over spray; if you don’t have a spray bottle just use one or two tsp. of water and mix again.
I didn’t buy a bath bomb mold for this project; instead I went to the dollar store looking for something that I can use. I found a lime squeezer, that I’m sure could’ve worked, but it’s had some texture inside which is why I didn’t chose it. I know a lot of people use plastic ornaments, but all Christmas products are already gone from most stores. Then I saw this night light with a haft baseball on top and I knew that if I got two I’d have the perfect mold for the bath bombs. Best of all, the mold was only only $2.
