A petición de muchas de ustedes que me pidieron hacer DIY para bodas, comencé mi búsqueda por inspiración para este tipo de proyectos, alguna de ustedes me pidieron velos de novia, otras bouquet económicos y decoración.
Después de mi búsqueda llegué a la conclusión que para muchos de estos proyectos tendría que aprender como hacer flores de tela y las que me parecen mas lindas son las que usa el método de flores quemadas. Decidí hacer un post exclusivo para las flores porque estas flores las usare después para los otros proyectos. Este es un proyecto fácil de hacer pero laborioso, especialmente si tienes pensado hacer más de una flor.
Lo primero que tienen que buscar es la tela, pueden usar, poliéster, organza, seda, o nylon, en general cualquier tela sintética funcionara. Luego necesitaran botones o broches decorativos, la verdad esto puede hacer que el proyecto se vuelva costoso, así que depende de vuestra economía lo que quieran usar. Yo compre botones decorativos de AQUÍ. El precio me pareció muy bueno en las especificaciones dice que viene 100 botones, pero en realidad vienen como 50, pero igual me parece muy bien por el precio de $5. Cuando ya creía que ya tenía todo lo que necesitaba para comenzar el proyecto me lleve con la sorpresa de que mi tijera es pésima para cortar tela, así que como yo iba a hacer más de una flor no quería perder el tiempo usando mi tijera habitual así que ordene una tijera de tela de AQUÍ, como verán en el video esta tijera funciona de maravilla y les recomiendo comprar una si quieren que este proyecto sea más fácil. Durante el proceso de hacer las flores van a aprender como se riza cada tipo de tela y cuán cerca de la flama tienen que estar. Yo al comienzo hice por lo menos unos 4 pétalos que no me gustaron mucho, porque estaban como que muy oscuras, luego ya le cogí la gracia y todo fue más fácil.
Yo dibuje todos los moldes para que a ustedes se les sea más fácil hacer este flores de tela. La descargar del molde es gratuita, lo único que tienen que hacer el darle un like usando cualquiera de sus redes sociales. Después de hacerle like el link será desbloqueado y podrás bajar el molde.

Over the past few weeks many of you have asked me to make a wedding DIY so I began my search for inspiration for this kind of projects. Some of you asked me to make a wedding veil, economic bouquet, wedding decor and a few other things. I came to conclusion that I needed to learn to make fabric flowers and I knew I wanted to do it using the burning method. The basis for my upcoming wedding DIY’s will be the new fabric flowers, and this is a post dedicated on how to make them.
The first thing to do is to get the fabric, you could polyester, organza, silk, or nylon, or any other synthetic fabric will work. You also need decorative buttons or brooches. These kinds of embellishments can increase the cost of your project, so depending on your budget chooses what works best with you. I ordered my buttons on amazon (LINK) while they look great the price is the best part, only $5 for 50 buttons, which is a steal. When I thought I already had everything I needed to start the project I run into a snag, I was planning to use my regular scissors but they didn’t work really well with cutting lots of fabric, so I ordered THIS (LINK), which I’ve fallen in love with; they work like a charm. At this point I recommend buying fabric scissors if you are planning make more than one flower, they really are worth the cost. One thing that you’ll learn along the way is that the different fabrics curve differently when heat is applied which will teach you and how close to the flame you need to be. I didn’t like the first petals I made; it took me some tries until I got a hold of how to make them just right.
