Today I’m going to show you how to make this adorable handcrafted baby mobile, which was originally made for a good friend and their newborn baby girl. A baby mobile is a great addition to any nursery and the perfect present for a baby shower. The versatility of this project is apparent given the fact it can be used in and outside of the crib. Folks I know who have made this project already have used it to decorate a canopy for a child’s play area. I can even see this mobile being used to decorate a party for all ages.
This is a super easy project and very affordable. I got most of the material at the Dollar Tree. If you are going to cover the foam ring with flowers you need to buy a lot of flowers. I only bought 10 bouquets thinking it would be enough since I was only using a 10” foam ring, it doesn’t look like it would need much more to cover it, but I was wrong. I had to go back to the store and buy another 10 bouquets. All said, for full coverage, it was still very affordable but if you want to do this project on a tight budget you can by wrapping the ring with crepe paper; I cover how this is done in the video.
Pro-Tip: you only need to use regular white thread. I made the mistake of thinking I needed something stronger in the past only to find out it wasn’t necessary or worth the frustration. This is on top the fact that fishing line is a lot harder to work with.

Hoy voy a mostrarte cómo hacer este adorable móvil para bebés hecho a mano, lo hice para como regalo para una amiga que va a tener una beba. Un móvil de bebe es una gran adición a cualquier cuarto de infante y es el regalo perfecto para un baby shower. La versatilidad de este proyecto es evidente dado el hecho de que puede usarse dentro y fuera de la cuna. Si tienes una nena mas grande lo puedes usar para decorar su área de juego.
Este es un proyecto súper fácil y muy asequible. Compre la mayor parte de material en la tienda de dólar. Si va a cubrir el anillo de espuma con flores tienes que comprar muchas flores. Yo solo compré 10 ramos pensando que sería suficiente pero me equivoque y tuve que volver a la tienda y compré otros 10 ramos.
Si tu no quieres cubrir todo con flores para hacer el proyecto incluso mas ecónomo te recomiendo cubrirlo con papel crepe rosado.
Pro-Tip: Solo necesita usar hilo blanco regular. Yo trate compre un rollo de hilo de pescar, pero este no funciona de la manera que yo quería, porque no se mantiene recto, en vez de esto se enrolla. Asi que mejor usar hilo tradicional.
