Today, let’s play with craft foam and create all kind of things, and yes! You can use your Cricut to make them. I’m going to show you how to cut craft foam using Cricut. I’m using a Cricut Maker, but you could also use Cricut Explore2. There are a couple of tips and tricks you will learn from watching my video, one of which will teach you the best way to deal with different foam thicknesses.
A lot of my followers have asked me about making a video with craft foam, but until this point, I have only used thin craft foam, I knew glitter, and 2mm craft foam was going to be a challenge. However, having dug into the process of cutting different types of foam with a Cricut cutting machine, I can say its a lot of fun. The key factors are using the strong-grip mat, the deep cut blade and if you’re planning to cut 2mm foam I’ll recommend using the knife blade, this last one can only be use with Cricut Maker. Now is the time to jump in.

Muchos de mis seguidores me han preguntado acerca de cómo se corta el foami con Cricut pero hasta este punto, yo solo habia cortado Goma Eva delgada para manualidades, sabía que usar Goma Eva mas gruesa seria un desafio. Sin embargo, habiendo profundizado en el proceso de cortar diferentes tipos de Goma Eva con una máquina Cricut, puedo decir que es muy divertido. Los factores clave son el uso de la alfombrilla de agarre fuerte, el mat morado, la cuchilla de corte profundo y si planeas cortar Goma Eva de 2 mm, recomendaré usar la cuchilla navaja, esta última solo se puede usar con Cricut Maker.
