Continuing with the Unicorn Themed projects, this time I’m going to show you how to make this beautiful unicorn headband. For this headband, I decided to use crepe paper flowers. Yes, they are the same ones I use for the Unicorn piñata (DIY Unicorn Piñata video), However, in this video, I’m going to show you the step by step on how to make them.
I got the headband at Dollar and I loved the way it looked just as-is, but If you get one that you don’t like, just wrap it with some ribbon and it’ll look lovely. I recommend using bright colors for the flowers, especially if you are taking pictures outside. Colors like soft purple and yellow can get a little washed out by direct sunlight. The same goes for pink in some circumstances, like felt for the Unicorn ears, I recommend using a color with more contrast against white.
This is an easy project, however, making paper crepe flowers can be a little time consuming, however, but it’s worth it! They look amazing. You could also use fake flowers or if you have a cutting machine you could use my petite flowers set as found in my Etsy shop. I personally think the petite flowers would look adorable in this setting. If you’re reading this post and planning on making a backdrop, I recommend the Firenze set plus the unicorn face cutouts. With these set’s your party is bound to be a smash hit!

Esta vez voy a mostrarte cómo hacer esta hermosa diadema de unicornio, espero que ya hayas visto el video la Piñata de Unicornio que hice. Para esta diadema, decidí usar flores de papel crepé, sí, son las mismas que use en la piñata, pero en este video, les mostraré paso a paso cómo hacerlas.
Compre la diadema en la tienda de dólar y ya estaba bonita, si no les gusta la diadema que compraron envuélvela con un poco de cinta. Te recomiendo usar colores más brillantes para hacer las flores, especialmente si tomaras fotos afuera, los colores como el violeta suave y el amarillo pueden perder con la luz del sol. Lo mismo con el fieltro rosa de la oreja, use un color que tenga más contraste con el blanco.
Este es un proyecto fácil, sin embargo, hacer flores de crepé de papel puede tomar un poco de tiempo, pero creo que ¡vale la pena! Se ven increíbles. También puedes usar flores artificiales o si tienes una máquina de cortar, puedes usar mi Petite Flowers disponible en tienda Etsy. Creo que también se verán adorables. Si planeas hacer un backdrop de unicornio, te recomiendo el Firenze set más los recortes de cara del unicornio.
