DIY Kraft Paper Fans

August 30, 2014 Comment : 1

I love it when the final result of a DIY is even better that what I was expecting; best of all when it is really affordable. As you may have seen, last week’s DIY was the “Coffee Filter Number”. The setup that I used to display it on the wall was surrounded by Kraft Paper Fans which is this week’s DIY. I used Kraft paper for two reasons. First, the color Kraft paper has doesn’t compete with the main element of the mural, which was the number. Second, Kraft paper is really affordable. I created different styles of paper fans by stamping some with circles, cutting some pieces off, and playing with the sizes. In the video tutorial I gave you some specific sizes but those were just references. You should use the sizes that you like that fit with your decorations. I love the feel of the mural, it looks so expensive and the best part was that I spent $12 on everything (number and fans). You can use these decorations for any event; birthdays, baby showers, weddings and more. I hope you like this DIY and if you make it, share a pic with me in my Facebook page I’d love to see it.
