DIY Flexy Mummy

September 6, 2014 Leave a Comment

I know it is not October yet, but what can I say I love Halloween, since the stores have started to sell Halloween products I’ve taken this as a sign for me to start putting together my Halloween decorations and working on my DIY’s. The other day I was surfing around Pinterest looking for inspiration as I always do and I came across Family Chick’s blog. I love the mummy Camilla made, so I decide to make my own. As always I like to make my DIY’s as affordable as possible and using materials I may already have at home. I used my husband’s old white t-shirt instead of going to the store to buy muslin. Tip: when shaping the mummy, make the arms at least 2/3 of the legs size. I really like that because the mummy is made with floral wire which makes it really flexible, so you can change the position of your mummy. I hope you like this DIY and if you make it please share a pic with me on my Facebook page. Thank you
