DIY Floral Hoops | Aros Florales

If you’ve followed me for a while, you likely know I love making paper flowers.This time, I’m going to show you how to make these adorable floral hoops. This project is in collaboration with my good friends over at Carte Fini. One important thing to know when making paper crepe flowers is that you need use high-quality paper. Without high-quality paper, there’s no way you’ll get the best result. If you’ve tried to make paper crepe flowers in the past and they just didn’t come out right it very likely it wasn’t entirely your fault. The paper you use for these types of projects makes a difference. Keep in mind, that making crepe flowers it pretty much sculpting and every person is going to get a totally different result. If your first attempt didn’t go so well, don’t give up, practice makes perfect.

For the floral wire, I decided to make two flowers. I love the Juliet Rose and I have seen a couple tutorials on how to make, but for my taste, they were missing texture and depth. I decided to make my own version of the Juliet Rose and I think I nail it! It looks amazing. I also made a Ranunculus that is simply a perfect match for the Juliet Rose. These two flowers are beautiful. While they’re lovely art pieces they are also a bit time-consuming. However, even with the time invested to make them these two new flowers, they’re totally worth it.

These floral hoops are really versatile. You can use easily for just about anything though they’re perfect for home or event décor. You can even make a backdrop using different sized hoops and decorate a nursery room or wedding.

Si me sigues ya de tiempo, es probable que sepas que me encanta hacer flores de papel. Esta vez, voy a mostrarte cómo hacer estos adorables aros florales. Este proyecto es en colaboración con mis buenos amigos de Carte Fini. Una cosa importante que debe saber al hacer flores de papel crepé es que necesita usar papel de buena calidad. Si no usas papel de buena calidad es muy probable que no obtenga el mejor resultado. Si trataste de hacer flores de crepé de papel en el pasado y simplemente no salieron bien, es muy probable que no fue enteramente tu culpa la causa puede haber sido que no usaste el papel correcto . En este tipo de proyectos el papel hace la diferencia.

Es importante tener en cuenta que hacer flores de crepé es más o menos esculpir papel y que cada persona tendrá un resultado distinto. Si tu primer intento te salen tan lindas, no te rindas, la práctica hace al maestro. Para este aro floral, decidí hacer dos tipos de flores. Una es la Rosa Juliet, yo vi un de tutoriales sobre cómo hacer este tipo de flor, pero se me hacia que les faltaba textura y profundidad. ¡Decidí hacer mi propia versión de Juliet Rose y creo que lo logre! Se ve increíble. También hice un Ranunculus que es simplemente la compañera perfecta para la Rosa Juliet. Estas dos flores son súper lindas, dicho esto tengan claro que son laboriosas. Sin embargo, todo el tiempo invertido para hacer de estas flores vale la pena.

Estos aros florales son realmente versátiles. Puedes usarlo fácilmente para casi cualquier cosa, son perfectos para decoración de hogar o eventos. Incluso puede hacer un backdrop con aros de diferentes tamaños y decorar un cuarto de bebes o una boda.
