Hi guys, today I’m going to review Ryobi 3000 PSI 2.5 GPM gas pressure washer. First, let me thank my friends of Ryobi Outdoors for sending me the product to try and review. Before getting into the review you should know my husband and I adore Ryobi, and not just because they’ve sent me this amazing power washer. Ever since we purchased our house, we’ve been on a tool-buying spree in an effort to take care of our house, ourselves. Before buying anything we did a lot of research into what tools were on the market and what was the best “bang for the buck”. It didn’t take long before we realized Ryobi was the brand that best fit our needs. These are the three main reasons why we choose Ryobi.
- They’re quality tools
- They’re affordable
- They back all of their tools with amazing warranties
How great the warranty really is should not be understated. We’ve used the warranty one time when we had a saw go bad in the middle of a project. All we did was take to where we purchased it, The Home Depot, and we got a new one, easy peasy. It should also be stated that of all the tools we’ve added to our collection we’ve only ever had to use the warranty once, and we use our tools a lot.
Let’s get to the pressure washer:
The Ryobi 3000 PSI 2.5 GPM is a BEAST! It has a 3000 PSI which refers to the pressure the unit can produce. If you’re looking to get good results you need to get a pressure washer that at least 2500 PSI. The pressure washer has a Honda motor (another fantastic company), which is capable of sustaining 2.5 GPM. Now if you’re not familiar with that figure just know that’s a lot of water. Couple the flow rate with the high pressure and an amazing engine and you’ve got yourself a winning combination in terms of a pressure washer.
On top of the high PSI and GPM, it also has a 35ft hose, a 5 in 1 spray nozzle, a power control attachment giving you fine-grain control over the sprayer, and an easy to fill detergent tank making just about any job a lot easier.
When it comes to mobility this pressure washer is hard to match. The 12in wheel that makes it incredibly maneuverable. This may seem like something silly to mention given that a pressure washer is essentially an engine mounted on a cart, however, this is a major selling point. A lot of pressure washers do not have good wheels and are not well balanced. Before partnering with Ryobi my husband and I had been searching for a pressure washer at the various box stores and a lot of the units we tinkered with were heavy and hard to move however that was not the case with this unit. The Ryobi 3000 PSI 2.5 GPM pressure washer is easy to move over a lot of terrains (tested over rocks, grass, and pavement).
If the features of this unit weren’t enough, you should know that the Ryobi 3000 PSI 2.5 GPM has a 3 years limited warranty. While that’s a good warranty, it’s not like you’re likely to use it given the Honda engine and quality build. I can personally testify that this unit is built tough. Our parcel carrier gravely mishandled the package in delivery by literally dropping the package from the truck and tumbling it to the middle of our driveway. While the box was beaten up and the air filter needed to be replaced (it was covered in oil after having been tumbled end over end) the unit fired upon the very first pull of the starter and worked flawlessly.
Check out the video review (minute 2:45) of the Ryobi 3000 PSI 2.5 GPM pressure washer I did and see it action. If you have any questions about the pressure washer, please reach out here, on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. I love hearing from folks interested in power tools.
Safety notice, if you are using a Pressure Washer please wear closed-toe shoes and safety glasses, don’t do it like my husband with sandals, he believes he’s indestructible…
