If you’re new to my blog, you probably don’t know this, but I really love thrifting. I go to thrift stores or a flea market at least twice a month; you just never know what treasures are waiting for you.
Ever since we bought our home in Texas, roughly 2 years ago, I’ve had tons of home improvement ideas and things I’ve wanted to change around the house to make it my own and give it my own style.
Ever since I bought a new chandelier for our formal dining room, I knew I wanted to give my old one a makeover and use it in our breakfast area.
Let start by saying I know I’m not the only one spending endless nights browsing through Pinterest and pinning home improvement projects.
I discovered thrift stores when I became a Pinterest addict around 4 years ago ☺. I love going to these stores at least once or twice a month, there’s always something cool that you can find.
My favorite things to do is shabby-chic DIYs. I love making something beautiful from something that was conventional. It reminds me of the show Extreme Makeover. I found this owl at the Dollar Tree Store and as many of you may know I love owls so I bought it.
